Typical Cruise Itinerary around the BVI

Before we meet for the first time on board Fidelity, we will have had several conversations or correspondences. One of the first things we will do is to send you a copy of Cruising Guide to the Virgin Islands by Nancy and Simon Scott. We will then suggest an itinerary that you can peruse with the Guide in front of you so  we can tailor your week with us to match your needs. With sufficient lead time and interaction, we can schedule more or less sailing, more or less exploring and sightseeing on land, rendezvous diving, wind surfing, small boat sailing and many other things you may wish to accomplish.

bulletDay 1: Arrive on board Fidelity on the dock at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook at the eastern end of the island. Orientation followed by sail to Leinster Bay for snorkeling and overnight with dinner on board Fidelity.
bulletDay 2: Motor to Soper’s Hole to check into the BVI. Sail to The Indians for snorkeling and lunch. Short motor to The Bight. Snorkel The Caves. Dinner on board Fidelity.
bulletDay 3: Sail to Salt Island Pass. Snorkel the wreck of The Rhone. Motor to Cooper Island where we will stay overnight with dinner on board Fidelity.
bulletDay 4: Sail to Spanish Town on Virgin Gorda for lunch and brief shopping ashore at the marina area. Hire a taxi driver who will take you to The Baths, a must-see location, thence a beautiful ride over the mountain and on to Leverick Bay to meet and board Fidelity. Overnite in North Sound with dinner on board.
bulletDay 5: Sail to Anegada.  Picnic lunch while enjoying the most beautiful and generally desolate beach in the Virgin Islands. Dinner at Neptune’s Treasure (best lobster in the BVI).

(An alternative plan: After meeting in North Sound on Virgin Gorda, sail directly to Anegada with dinner at Neptune’s Treasure. Stay next day at Anegada. Rent jeep to tour the island, visit settlement, snorkel Jack Bay and/or Loblolly Bay. Visit Flamingo Lagoon, lunch ashore, dinner on board Fidelity. The difference is yes or no to spend afternoon in North Sound on Virgin Gorda and enjoy the attractions at the Bitter End Resort. We can talk about it more when we get together by phone.)

bulletDay 6: Sail to Cane Garden Bay with snorkel and lunch stop at Monkey Point on Guana Island. Watch the sunset from a beach bar or lounge chair on the beach. Dinner on board Fidelity.
bulletDay 7: Sail to Green Cay for snorkeling, then to Great Harbour and anchor. Dinner at Foxy’s on shore.
bulletDay 8: Sail to Cruz Bay on St. John to check in with Customs and Border Patrol (CBP). Motorsail to Red Hook. All fun things must come to an end and we must bid adieu to our new friends…until we meet again.
